SISD to hold job fair

The Socorro Independent School District is going to hold a job fair Friday morning.

The district is looking for bilingual, ESL and special education teachers for all grade levels.

You must be certified to qualify.

Special education teachers should have a generalist or content-specific certification in addition to their certification in special education.

Interested applicants for other positions, such as teachers, police officers, bus drivers, bus monitors, security guards and substitute nurses, are also invited to attend the job fair.

Applicants are asked to bring copies of their resume and be prepared to be interviewed on the spot.

The job fair will be at SISD’s District Service Center at 12440 Rojas Drive Friday, Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon.
