UPDATE: Memorial for Coach Duran this Wednesday at Irvin
The students and staff at Irvin High School will hold a memorial to honor Coach Arcadio “Archie” Duran.
The coach died early Sunday morning after the EPISD charter bus he was riding in collided head-on with a wrong-way driver.
EPISD officials say the memorial is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the school’s Memorial Stadium.
The high school is located at 9465 Roanoke Dr.
The Duran Family is expected to be in attendance.
