Armed robbery in South Central El Paso

Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened in South Central El Paso Thursday morning, officials said.

According to police, an armed male suspect demanded cash at the 7-Eleven near Clark Drive and Alameda Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

No injuries or arrests were reported.

A second robbery was reported by police later in the morning at the intersection of Montana and Copia, but at this point it is unclear if the two are related.
