YISD BOARD ELECTIONS: District 5 headed for a runoff

Carlos Jesus Bustillo appears to have wrapped up the race for the District 1 seat in the Ysleta Independent School District Board.

Incumbent Ana Duenez is second with 32 percent of the vote.

In District 5, incumbent board member Paul Pearson trails Cruz Ochoa by a small margin. This race is likely headed for a runoff. See the results below.
