Police: Would-be car burglars beat victim with a tire iron
The police department ‘s gang unit arrested and charged four men with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
21-year old Shyem Gantt, 20-year old Daniel Gallardo, 23-year old Aaron Gallardo, and 19-year old Jesus Marquez allegedly beat a 21-year-old man with a tire iron.
Police said the victim was assaulted after he caught the four suspects trying to steal his vehicle’s wheels.
It happened at the Sand Pebble Apartments on the 11200 block of Pebble Hills.
“The victim was struck all over his body and head causing several lacerations,” police said.
Investigators later identified and arrested the suspects.
Each was jailed on a $50,000 bond.
