Man accused of robbing two convenience stores at gunpoint

Police released security camera footage showing the man accused of robbing two convenience stores at gunpoint.

The suspect walked into the 7-11 located at 3525 N. Yarbrough the night of Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Police say he threatened the clerk with a handgun, slammed a bag on the counter and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect also demanded cartons of cigarettes, police added.

The same suspect is believed to be responsible for a similar robbery, a week prior on May 8th 2017. That robbery happened just after midnight at the 7-11 located at 10418 Rushing.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying the armed robber.

The suspect was described as an Hispanic male, approximately 5’9″ in height, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, over a grey shirt, black jeans, and black shoes.
