Two El Pasoans are among those killed in a 25-vehicle pile-up crash on I-10 near Lordsburg, New Mexico, according to New Mexico State Police.

Officials say 77-year-old Jose Manuel Clemente and 38-year-old Maurella Clemente Munoz were the two victims from El Paso involved in the crash on Monday night.

Authorities also named Jose Elias Caraveo-Serrano , 30, Susana Carevo , 29, Julissa Carevo , nine months, of Phoenix and Josefina Silva, 47, of Escondido, California.

Officials said the chain-reaction crash is attributed to a dust storm which had high winds causing limited visibility from blowing dust.

Police said the initial investigation indicated that 18 commercial motor vehicles and seven passengers vehicles were involved. No word yet on how many were injured.

This crash is an ongoing investigation, with no further information available at this time.

Authorities said they’re going to hold a press conference later today. They haven’t determined where or at what time. ABC-7’s New Mexico Mobile Newsroom will be there to bring you updates all day on air and online on kvia.com
