Jury deliberating punishment for man convicted in 2015 killing
A Jury found Paul E. Johnson, 23, guilty for the August 2015 killing of 26-year-old Toris Deandre Knight.
Police said the murder happened outside Players Bar in North-Central El Paso.
Cortez Devonte Thomas, 25, was also arrested back in August 2015 in connection to the murder as well. He is awaiting trial.
Johnson was arrested in De Soto County, Mississippi by U.S, Marshals soon after the killing.
The Jury is currently deliberating Johnson’s sentence, where he could be facing 5 to 99 years in prison.
