Sun Metro offering free bus passes to kids throughout summer

Sun Metro has partnered with multiple non-profit organizations to offer free transportation for El Paso youths.

Kids enrolled in a summer program with any of the following organizations are eligible for a free bus pass:

Center Against Sexual & Family Violence El Paso Center for Children El Paso Public Library, El Paso Parks & Recreation Centers El Paso Symphony Orchestra Tocando Community Music, House of Hope Museum & Cultural Affairs Department Project Bravo Reynolds Home Salvation Army

Kids must be enrolled in summer programs between June 1 and August 31 to be eligible for free bus passes.

Youths between the ages of 6 to 18 are eligible for a pass, kids under the age of 12 will receive a distinguished pass, that will allow them and a companion over 12 to ride for free.

Children under 5 always ride free of charge.

Anyone interested must contact one of the non-profit organizations listed above to enroll in a summer program before receiving a Sun Metro pass.
