Luis Fonsi tickets now on sale for Abraham Chavez Theater performance

Luis Fonsi, known for his huge hit ‘Despacito,’ will be making his debut in El Paso September 13th at the Abraham Chavez Theatre.

Fonsi has dominated music charts with his new Spanish language single, which features Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber.

Although Latin influence in pop culture is not new, there hasn’t been a Spanish language song in the top spot since “Macarena” in 1996, according to CNN.

Fonsi hopes ‘Despacito’ will be the song of summer 2017.

“I hope it’s my song. I get asked a lot if it’s going to be ‘Despacito,’ and I don’t know,” Fonsi said in an interview with Billboard, “It’s the perfect summer song! It’s what I thought when I started writing it. I wanted it to be a kind of sandy feet/piña colada kind of afternoon song.”

His tour is set to kick off July 1 in Andujar, España and end in October in Antofagasta, Chile.
