Police identify motorcyclist killed in crash in Central El Paso

Special Traffic investigators have identified a motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Central El Paso Sunday evening.

Police say the crash happened around 7 P.M. Sunday in central El Paso at the intersection of Copia and Copper.

Officers say 61 year old David Dorzal was travelling at a high rate of speed while weaving in an out of traffic when he struck the back of a Dodge Caravan that was stopped on Copia waiting to make a left turn onto Copper,

Dorzal was taken to University Medical Center where he died.

No one in the van was injured.
