Shoppers look to snag deals on Thanksgiving Day
El Pasoans are taking advantage of Black Friday deals a day before the big shopping day.
On Thanksgiving Day, hundreds lined up outside the Best Buy at the Fountains at Farah. Some camped out for days in tents, others waited since Thursday morning, all to snag door buster deals.
“One time I slept in my car and another time I slept in my tent,” Alexander Rankin, who had been waiting in line for three days said. “I’ll take naps occasionally in my chair.”
The store opened at 5 p.m. Thursday and closes at 1 a.m. It’ll reopen Friday at 8 a.m.
