Crash injures one on U.S. 54 in Northeast El Paso

One person was injured in a crash Friday morning near U.S. 54 and Ellerthorpe Avenue in Northeast El Paso.

Emergenc y responders said one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash occurred about 2:30 a.m., and blocked part of the highway. U.S. 54 has since opened.

The impact of the crash left debris scattered all over the highway. It took two tow trucks to haul away parts of the vehicle.
