NMSU makes it 6 wins in row, Aggies roll past Utah Valley 86-59

New Mexico State made it look easy Saturday afternoon by defeating WAC rival Utah Valley by a final of 86-59.

It was NMSU’s 6th win in a row and they remain in first place of the WAC.

The game was expected to be a lot closer because the Wolverines came into the game undefeated in conference play (4-0).

Instead, the Aggies dominated from the very beginning and never gave up the lead.

NMSU went into halftime with a 39-29 lead.

In the second half the Aggies outscored the Wolverines by 17 points.

NMSU’s Zach Lofton had another big game leading the way in scoring for the Aggies with 24 points.

The win improves NMSU’s overall record to 17-3 and they remain undefeated in WAC play, a perfect 5-0.

Aggies will hit the road next Saturday to take on the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
