ICE agents deport Mexican fugitive wanted for 2012 homicide
ICE agents Wednesday deported an undocumented man wanted in Mexico for murder.
Moises Trevizo-Gamez, 42, of Mexico, was turned over to Mexican authorities at the international boundary at the top of El Paso’s Stanton International Bridge.
Officials said he is wanted in Chihuahua, Mexico, for the 2012 murder of Luis Gabriel Casillas Flores.
On April 2, 2012, Trevizo-Gamez was admitted into the United States as a non-immigrant Border Crossing Card holder, and was authorized to remain in the country on a temporary basis until May 2, 2012.
Trevizo-Gamez was arrested November 14, 2017, by ICE agents in Roswell, New Mexico. Investigators served him with a notice to appear before a federal immigration judge. The following day, the Mexican Attorney General’s Office notified investigators Trevizo-Gamez was wanted for murder.
On January 17, 2018, an immigration judge ordered Trevizo-Gamez removed to Mexico.
