EPPD arrests 3 men in connection to car burglary in West El Paso
Three men were arrested after a witness reported seeing them trying to break into cars parked outside a Cracker Barrel restaurant at 7540 Remcon in West El Paso.
The men were later seen carrying a golf cart and golf bag into a nearby Red Roof Inn, police said.
A victim reported those items were stolen and called police.TAC officers responded to the call and later saw Nathan Ramos, 31, place the golf cart and bag inside a vehicle in the parking lot outside of the Red Roof Inn. Luis Daniel Herrera, 31, drove off with Ramos, police said. The men were stopped by a police officer.
Ramos was arrested for burglary of a vehicle. Cocaine was allegedly found in Herrera’s vehicle and he was arrested on cocaine possession charges.
A third man, 28-year-old Victor Munoz, was found at the hotel and also placed under arrest and charged with burglary of vehicle, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine. The drugs were allegedly found on his person.
All three men were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
