2 charged with capital murder for deadly Houston carjacking
Two Houston men are jailed on capital murder and other charges for the slaying this week of a 31-year-old woman during an attempted carjacking at a gas station.
Police say 20-year-old Jermia Guillory and 24-year-old D’Marquis Boone are charged with fatally shooting Kiesha Price. She was in a car at the gas station Monday night while her boyfriend and an uncle went inside.
Two men on bicycles pulled up on each side of the car, opened the doors and tried to steal it. Price struggled and police say Guillory shot her. The pair then fled on their bikes.
Court records show Boone has a record for burglary, aggravated assault, weapons possession and robbery.
Both have court appearances set for Monday. Online court records don’t list an attorney for either man.
