LCPD looking for Denny’s armed robber

Las Cruces Police need help identifying a man who they say robbed a Denny’s at gun point December 28, 2017.

The suspect entered the restaurant, located at 3901 Bataan Memorial West, at about 3:30 am and demanded cash from the register, according to police. The man allegedly fled the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money.

No shots were fired and no injuries reported.

According to police, the suspect left the parking lot in a vehicle and headed north on Emerald Drive toward the Las Colinas neighborhood.

The man is described as approximately 6-feet tall with a stocky build in his 20s or 30s. Surveillance cameras in the restaurant captured images of the suspect.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the suspect. Police ask that anyone with information call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
