Woman pleads guilty to drug trafficking in Doa Ana County

An Arizona woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to distributing meth to undercover law enforcement in Doña Ana County.

Emeralda Dominguez, 33, and co-defendant Fank Lara, 45, were charged with distributing approximately 56.09 grams of meth to an individual working with law enforcement in July of 2016.

Dominguez and Lara subsequently were charged in a two-count indictment filed on October 19, 2017, with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine from July 14, 2016 through July 15, 2016

Lara pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

At sentencing, Dominguez faces a minimum of 10 years and maximum of life in prison.
