According to the El Paso Inc, Rick Seeberger plans to focus on attracting renewable energy and technology jobs to the Borderland and advocating for border security. Seeberger believes our nation’s immigration system needs to be reformed and border security tightened. “I do believe that immigration and border security go hand-in-hand because you really don’t have one without the other,” Seeberger recently told ABC-7.

According to the El Paso Inc, Garcia-Ureste supports a border wall in some places, but calls for the use of smart wall technology in others.

Garcia-Ureste said the federal government should wait before it decides to deport Dreamers benefiting from the DACA program. She believes immigration authorities should make sure Dreamers are not ancestors of original landowners in Texas who were forced out of their land. If elected, Garcia-Ureste wants to create opportunities for small businesses to thrive.
