NMSU headed to the NCAA Tournament, Aggies top Antelopes in WAC Tournament final

The New Mexico State Aggies are going dancing for the second straight year.

NMSU won the WAC Tournament Championship after beating Grand Canyon University by a final of 72-58.

Aggies got off to a slow start in the first half, but they settled down to go up by 11 points at halftime.

NMSU would never give up the lead in the second half, but the Antelopes kept it close at one point cutting the Aggies lead to 4.

With the win the Aggies get the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

The team will find out who they will play in the first round of tournament on Selection Sunday.
