Actor Cheech Marin shares private Chicano Art collection

Actor and philanthropist Cheech Marin is sharing his collection of Chicano Art work that includes

65 pieces from the Chicano Revolution to present day.

This is the first time the exhibition is being displayed in Texas.

The artwork ranges from pastels and watercolors to acrylic and spray paint.

Marin says the art is meant to explore common themes of identity, politics, social revolution and the experience of living between and within many cultures while being Chicano.

The exhibit will run through June 17.
