Two Austin police officers injured during deadly shooting
Two Austin police officers are recovering after they were ambushed during a deadly standoff, according to ABC affiliate KTRK.
Authorities said the officers were responding to a call for help Sunday night in Southeast Austin.
During the call, one officer was shot and the other suffered injuries to his hand and knee.
Police said they shot and killed the suspect when he walked out with a woman, who was not hurt.
