An El Paso man allegedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend after breaking into her West Side apartment, police said.

Zachary Adrian Zamora, 22, is accused of killing 20-year-old Sylvia Guerrero early Sunday morning. He is wanted on murder and aggravated assault charges.

Police found Guerrero dead inside a unit at Corona Del Valle Apartments about 6:50 a.m. Sunday on the 5400 block of Ridge.

Zamora is described as being 6-foot-3 and weighing approximately 190 pound. He has short black hair and brown eyes, a small tattoo on his upper left cheek, and tattoos on both arms.
