Sheriff’s Office identifies man killed in Montana Vista wreck
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office identified the man killed in a wreck in Montana Vista on Sunday.
23-year-old Dustin Tyler Barrett died at the scene of a single vehicle crash in the Far East El Paso County neighborhood.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on the 14000 block of wagon Trail Dr. just after 4 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators determined the vehicle was traveling east on Wagon Trail Dr. – and for an unknown reason – Barrett veered off the road.
This caused the vehicle to rollover. Barrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
One person was transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries.
