Border Patrol agents bust teen with meth and black tar heroin

Border Patrol agents in Eagle Pass, Texas arrested an 18-year-old woman allegedly trying to smuggle more than 11 pounds of methamphetamine and more than five pounds of black tar heroin into the United States.

Officials with the border patrol said the narcotics had a combined street value of more than $126,000.

The arrest was made on July 15, 2018 when Border Patrol agents discovered 10 plastic bags containing crystal methamphetamine and two plastic containers with black tar heroin hidden in a 2008 Kia.

The woman, of Eagle Pass, Texas, and narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration for further investigation.
