Today is National Tequila Day

Grab your favorite shot glass, it’s National Tequila Day. The name comes from Mexico’s town of Tequila, Guadalajara. Popular drinks with tequila include the margarita and the tequila Sunrise. According to nationaldaycalendar.com, the law states tequila is only tequila if it is produced in the state of Jalisco. The law limits production in some parts of Guanajuato, Michoacan, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas. Even if someone uses the same ingredients anywhere else, it can’t be labeled tequila. USA Today put together a list of deals that some restaurants are offering to celebrate. You can find them by clicking on this link.
