NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher to speak at Carlsbad summit
Southeastern New Mexico school athletes will have a chance to meet newly minted National Football League Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher.
The Carlsbad Current-Argus reports Brian Urlacher, inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame earlier this month, will make a special appearance at the Energy Summit in Carlsbad next month.
Select students from local high schools will get the opportunity to learn from the Chicago Bears linebacker and former University of New Mexico Lobo.
Urlacher, inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame earlier this month, was raised in Lovington, New Mexico, and led the Lovington High School Wildcats to a state title in 1995.
He played 13 years in the NFL for the Chicago Bears as a linebacker.
