The Chihuahua Attorney General’s office released a picture of a man identified only as Rosalío Soledad M. A black box covered this eyes, making it difficult to fully identify him.

Rosalío is accused of the murder of David Rafael Santillan Vargas, 6, who was known as “Rafita.”

Rafita went missing on Aug. 8, last seen walking to a store in his neighborhood. His body was found on Aug. 13. He had been put into a bag and left in the area near the Juarez airport.

Investigators searched Rosalío’s house, who lived near the neighborhood where Rafita went missing. They found blankets, sheets, a ball and biological samples inside, according to the A.G.

According to the news release, Rosalío first gave false and contradictory statements to investigators, but then said that the child entered his home and began to play with a ball, breaking a decoration. Rosalío said he got angry and threw Rafita against the wall, causing his death. He allegedly told investigators that he took Rafita to his bedroom and covered him with a sheet inside his closet, only taking him to the desert near the Praderas del Pacifico neighborhood.
