NMSU goes down to Louisiana Lafayette

With the Miners on a bye this week the attention was NMSU.

Aggies playing from behind all game. First quarter, down 14, Josh Adkins hits Jason Huntley on the flare route. He swings it up the sideline for the 50 yard score!

After a Louisiana touch down the Cajins would make the mistake of kicking to Jason Huntley. He took the ball at the around 12 yard line. He headed up the middle and found a seem! Huntley gets to the sideline and is gone! 21-14 Cajins.

Still in the first quarter, Levi Lewis tosses it to the man in motion Jarrod Jackson, who flips it to Ernest Patterson on the end around. He followed his blocker and is off to the races! That would put the Cajins up 28-14!

Third quarter, Aggies trying to climb out of the hole they were in. Andre Nunez at quarterback for the Cajins. He foun Ryheen Malone on the wide receiver screen and Malone took it to the promise land.

The Cajins scored 6 touchdowns on their first 6 drives. They Totalled 759 total yards of offense to NMSU’s 406. Josh Adkins had 284 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception. The Aggies lost 66 to 38.
