UTEP Golf goes for four straight

The UTEP Womens golf team is getting ready to travel.
They will be heading to Little Rock Arkansas Friday to continue their season.
A season they have been dominating! That’s why they are our, Southwest University Community Champions.
Never have the UTEP Lady Miner golf team won two tournaments in a season.

So winning the first two back to back was amazing!

Then when they won their third tournament, in a row, it made it that much more incredible.

We caught up with Coach Jere Pelletier and the ladies earlier today, and this is what they had to say about it.

Coach said, “We ‘re really playing well, the girls are practicing hard and making good decisions on the golf course. I think that’s the big thing, our course management has gotten so much better. Just working hard on the short game, chipping and putting.”

Junior Shannon O’Dwyer told us, “Honestly I don’t think we are doing anything different, Its just building on what we had last season. We finished pretty well in conference and we came back this year after everyone worked hard all summer. The better were doing the more confidence we are getting. I think its getting better every week.”
