Hospitals of Providence holds 10th annual Pink Walk Friday
Organizers expected a larger turnout Friday for the 10th annual Pink Walk, the Hospitals of Providence told ABC-7.
The hospital puts on the walk at its East Side campus off of Joe Battle every year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Charlie Swopes, a breast cancer Charlie Swopes nurse navigator, told ABC-7 the event is always free for the community to come support those battling, or who have battled breast cancer.
Swopes said bands, cheerleaders, military personnel and dozens of community members always turn up for the annual event.
