TRAFFIC ALERT: Water main break on Fred Wilson and Marshall road
A 20 inch water line broke Friday morning gushing water on Fred Wilson Ave. and Marshall Rd.
The road in the area was nearly underwater delaying traffic. Drivers were directed to take Julian Ave. to avoid the area.
An El Paso Water official said no services in the area were affected but could not confirm what caused the break.
The broken water main is under the jurisdiction of Fort Bliss Water. El Paso Water is assisting with repairs.
The report came down just after 7:30 a.m. Friday.
El Paso Water did not say when the break was expected to be fixed.
