New Mexico State High School Football Playoff Picture

The New Mexico High School Football Playoff pairings were announced Saturday evening.

In 6a Cleveland earned the top seed and Volcano Vista got the four seed.

The La Cueva Bears are the number two seed while the Centennial Hawks got the third seed.

All top four seeds have a first round bye.

Now lets take a look at that first round.

Monzano will be taking on Rio Rancho, Mayfield will be taking on Cibola and this game will be played Friday night 7pm, at the Field of Dreams.

Hobbs will play Eldorado and Las Cruces will play Clovis.

The Cruces, Clovis game will be on Saturday, 1pm at the Field of Dreams.

Now to 5a and their byes.

Roswell is the top seed while the Artesia Bulldogs are now four.
Goddard is the second seed and Los Lunas earned the third seed.

Now lets check out the first round of the 5a playoffs.
