Las Cruces police are asking for the public’s help locating two people suspected of burglarizing an apartment and stealing a handgun.

The alleged burglary happened Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at about 11:45 a.m.

Police said the suspects, possibly a man and a woman, broke into an apartment on 1205 S. Española Street, and stole a handgun.

The suspects were reportedly seen leaving the apartment and driving away in a gold-color minivan.

Investigators obtained an image of the minivan from a surveillance camera nearby.
