Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury fired

Texas Tech head football coach Kliff Kingsbury was fired today. Kingsbury had a 35 and 40 record over the last six years at the helm.

He coached this years first overall NFL draft pick Baker Mayfield before Mayfield transferred to Oklahoma. He also coached Patrick Mahomes who is having an all star season for the Chiefs.

North Texas head coach Seth Littrell and Troy head coach Neal Brown, who were both assistants at Texas Tech in the past, are likely replacements.
