Help a child in need by donating to the Santa with a Badge Toy Drive

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is trading the badge for a bag — a gift bag, that is.

The office is holding its annual “Santa with a Badge” Toy Drive in hopes of providing over 2,000 toys to children in the unincorporated, less wealthy areas of El Paso County.

The sheriff’s office is asking for the community’s support; everyone is encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped toy or money.

Toys can be dropped off at the following Family Dollar locations:

Toys can also be taken to the Community Services Section inside the Sheriff’s Office headquarters at 3850 Justice Drive in Far East El Paso County.

Donations will be accepted until Dec. 21.
