Lizarraga, Svarzbein winners of City Council runoffs, keep seats: How council looks now
The two incumbents in the El Paso City Council runoffs are now the unofficial winners of both races after 100 percent of precincts have reported.
In District 1, Peter Svarzbein recieved 2,799 votes to 1,604 for Veronica Frescas.
In District 8, Cissy Lizarraga claimed 1,107 votes to 672 for challenger Nicholas Vasquez.
