Alleged inappropriate conduct investigated at Socorro High School

An allegation of alleged inappropriate conduct by an employee is being investigated at Socorro High School.

The principal confirmed in a parent notification Thursday that the school received a report about the conduct by an employee at the school.

Josh Tovar said that the Socorro Independent School District initiated an investigation and the person named in the report has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Tovar did not disclose the name or position of the employee in the written communication to parents, only saying that the information surrounding the allegation is being investigated “by all appropriate authorities.”
