UTEP Mens Basketball try to hold on in C-USA play

With the 14 and 10 FIU Panthers coming to the Don, The UTEP Miners knew they needed a big effort from their stars.

The Miners were all over the glass in the game. Picking up big rebounds that often lead to points.

FIU seemed to fall apart against the the defense they encountered.

UTEP rattled off a 20-4 run that gave them a lead at the half.

The pressure the Miners gave the Panthers in the second half worked.

UTEP held the lead for most of the game.

With four Miners going into double digit points it became clear they were the better team

The Don was rocking as UTEP won the game 85 to 78.
