El Paso Humane Society holds Kitten Shower
The EL Paso Humane Society told ABC 7 that they receive the most kittens in the springtime.
They receive kittens who have been surrendered, orphaned and from El Paso Animal Services.
Saturday they held a Kitten Shower to teach people how to bottle feed the kittens they get into their nursery that are too young to eat solid foods.
The humane society said they need volunteers to help them with the influx of kittens that range in age from newborn to eight weeks.
The kittens need to be fed every three hours.
This will be the first year that the nursery will be open 24 hours a day.
