Deadly crash on U.S. 54 in central El Paso

A fatal crash happened in central El Paso early Sunday morning, according El Paso police.

The single-car crash happened on U.S. 54 southbound near Montana Avenue, according to police spokesman Darrel Petry.

Special Traffic Investigators closed Gateway South at Trowbridge Drive, Hueco and the Montana off ramp.
