5-year-old child allegedly steals UPS package shortly after delivery

Detectives with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the theft of a UPS package outside a residence in Canutillo , Texas.

The theft occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2019, officials said.

Video surveillance footage shows a white passenger vehicle stopping at the residence several minutes after UPS delivered the package.

A minor believed to be approximately five-years-old is then seen exiting the vehicle and taking the package from the doorstep.

The minor returns to the vehicle and the driver departs the scene.

The sheriff’s office described the vehicle as a newer model passenger vehicle with ” aftermarket ” rims.
