Crime Stoppers: Man used cloned debit card to steal hundreds

Crime Stoppers of El Paso is asking for help identifying a man recorded by surveillance cameras as he allegedly used a cloned debit card to withdraw money from an ATM in East El Paso.

The alleged theft happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

The suspect walked into the Walgreens located at 8889 Gateway West at the Fountains At Farah shopping center.

The man used an ATM located inside the pharmacy and allegedly made three separate cash withdrawals using a cloned credit card.

Detectives say the suspect managed to take more than $600 from the victim’s account using the duplicated bank card.

The suspect walked out of the business and fled the scene in a dark colored sedan.

He is described as an Hispanic male in his 20s or early 30s with a mustache and beard. He was wearing a yellow jacket and black colored pants the day of the crime.
