Police arrest man accused of shooting teenager in the chest at Lower Valley motel
El Paso Police arrested the man who allegedly shot a teenager in the chest early Wednesday morning.
Police booked Andrew Renee Aguilar, 20, into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $750,000 bond. Police did not clarify whether Aguilar has been charged.
The shooting happened just before 5 a.m. at the Quality Inn on the 900 block of Yarbrough, right next to I-10.
Police said Aguilar and the teenager had been “arguing throughout the night” when Aguilar shot the teenager in the chest.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, police said.
