Locomotive FC Drop 1-0 Contest to Las Vegas

The El Paso Locomotive saw their 9-match unbeaten streak come to a close last night at Southwest University Park.

The Las Vegas Lights came into El Paso and pulled off the upset, using a 1st half goal from Tabor Preston that came off a setpiece free kick header.

The Locomotive had chances late, as Omar Salgado’s blast from outside the box was knocked aside by Lights goalkeeper Thomas Olsen.

It was a full house on hand at Southwest University Park with 8,117 fans, resulting in the second largest crowd in franchise history behind their home opener on March 9th.

El Paso returns to action Wednesday night on the road against San Antonio FC. Catch all the action at 6:30 on ESPNPlus.
