Local company donates ‘El Paso Strong’ t-shirts to high school wrestlers competing at state

When high school wrestlers from El Paso take to the mat in Houston, everyone will know which city they represent.

Local printing company, Uplifted Printing, donated up to 100 'El Paso Strong' t-shirts to all the wrestlers who qualified for the UIL state competition.

The owners of Uplifted Printing are Justin Arenas and Brecca Armendariz.

Arenas and Armendariz are siblings who started Uplifted Printing a little more than a year ago.

The company was tagged on a Facebook post by '915 Wrestling' as the Facebook group searched for a company that was willing to print the shirts and donate them to the wrestlers.

Arenas says when he saw the post he and his sister knew they had to help.

Since then, parents of the wrestlers have been asking to purchase the shirts.

"We got tagged on his Facebook page and me and my sister just looked at each other and in both our hearts we knew we had to do this," Arenas said.

"It makes us full of joy not only that we were able to provide this for them, but that when they're out there in Houston they will be representing our city."

If you would like to purchase a shirt from Uplifted Printing, orders can be placed on the company's Facebook page.
