StormTrack Weather: Winds pick up this afternoon as a weak cold front approaches

A weak cold front will move into the Borderland tonight resulting in windy conditions this afternoon and slightly cooler temperatures on Monday.

Afternoon winds are expected to gust up to 35 mph. Winds are expected to be the strongest betwen 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Areas impacted the most will be the east as the winds come in from the west.

Monday’s afternoon highs will reach the upper the mid to lower 70s.

Seasonably warm dry weather is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday before a stronger cold front causes cooler below normal temperatures Thursday and especially on Friday.
