El Paso has 13 new virus deaths – youngest victim in 40s

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health reported 13 coronavirus-related deaths and 374 new cases Monday morning.

The latest fatality victims included:

  • 1 man in his 40s
  • 2 men in their 50s      
  • 1 man in his 60s
  • 4 men in their 70s   
  • 1 woman in her 70s
  • 2 men in their 80s
  • 1 woman in her 80s
  • 1 woman in her 90s 

El Paso County's pandemic death toll now stands 1,772.

The number of active cases decreased by 255 to 34,780.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 117,039 confirmed cases in El Paso with 79,919 reported recoveries.
