StormTRACK Weather: Increased fire danger as drier air and windy conditions move into the area

El Paso, Texas- After yesterday's short lived storms made their way across the region. Westerly winds will bring drier air and warmer air to the Borderland.

Wind gusts will be around 30-35 MPH for the Las Cruces & El Paso area. I think any patchy dust that could be thrown into the air will be to the south east, but I do believe we will see a brown haze in the skies this afternoon.

Hudspeth and Culberson counties could see wind gusts around 40 MPH.

The windy conditions, dry air and warm temperatures increase fire danger for area mountain locations. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
